Role Overview
We are looking for an Office HR Administrator, to support the Fellbach site who will provide general administrative and HR support across a number of functions including Human Resources, Purchasing, Engineering and Sales. The role will be the first point of contact for any HR queries and work closely with the broader HR team to deal with any complex cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on employee lifecycle activities, including all employee inductions for new employees, generating new starter paperwork, maternity, paternity, flexible working requests, reference requests and leavers
- Ensure that all HR systems are updated with accurate information following the correct approval processes. Maintain employee personnel files in line with data retention requirements
- Build a relationship with the local works council and be the first point of contact for issues, escalating where required to management / HR for support
- Ensuring that clear and effective communication is used when appropriate for all personnel, external customers and suppliers
- Maintain effective day to day relationships with customers, colleagues and managers
- Provide continual support to senior management in project improvement planning to meet business objectives
- Comply with H&S and environmental responsibilities, participate in relevant H&S meetings
- Organising and coordinating engagement events with local and national charities, hospitals, hospices and other community/wildlife support groups
Skills & Experience
- Excellent administration / organisation skills
- Experience within a similar role with payroll, HR and Purchasing
- Good understanding of MS packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word
- To be able to work with cross functional teams
- Fluent in German
